About

Mary Ellen and GrandkidsFinding a pair of flip flops in the bottom of your closet can be a difficult task. Inspired by my grandchildrens’ lack of ability to find a matching pair of their prized “flip flops”, the only shoes they wear 90% of the year, I created the sturdy and stylish My Pair Tree holders.

As a multi-tasking hanging shoe rack and space organizer, My Pair Tree can hold six pairs of your favorite flip flops or sandals. Designed with versatility in mind, this hanging space saver and organizer will hold jewelry, belts, stuffed animals, scarves and more. You can hang My Pair Tree just about anywhere, and with the choice of style and colors, you are sure to find one that will fit your needs.

The Inventor

In 1990 I returned home to south Louisiana. While single parenting three boys I enrolled in the University of Louisiana Lafayette and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. After working as a professional artist for many years, my focus was shifted to finding a creative solution to a problem close to home. Inspired by my grandchildrens’ lack of ability to find a matching pair of flip flops, I created My Pair Tree, a multi-tasking, hanging flip flop holder and organizer. As a professional artist, I had the vision to not only clean things up a bit but to add some chic to function.

My family has inspired and supported me every step from the invention to patent, manufacturing and now sales. My grandchildren proudly model my products and my children work behind the scenes to help the business grow.

The holders have been sold in The Container Store, Dillard’s, and boutiques across the United States. The flip flop holder has been seen nationally on the Today Show and on Good Morning America in promotional reviews for innovative products related to interior organization.
